Brenda originally hails from Illinois and made the move to San Diego while her husband serves in the United States Navy. Her passion for veterinary medicine began with a desire to give animals the best lives possible, paired with a love for the unique challenge of caring for patients who can’t tell us where it hurts.
Brenda graduated in 2021 and earned her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license in Illinois before relocating to California, where she also obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license. She enjoys the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of veterinary medicine, where no two days are ever the same and every patient brings something new.
While Brenda misses the Midwest, she loves her life in Southern California with her husband and their three cats. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring San Diego’s diverse food scene, trying new restaurants, and relaxing at home with a good Netflix binge.
